Not dead.

Still working on stuff, just don't post about it much.

Projects

Ok, here's a quick rundown on our active and inactive projects as a whole.
First, the things that are actively being designed or developed:
  • Legend of Nyrr - the big one, MMORPG with a fully unique design. I might pull the setting from Etherium for this, since I like it better.
  • Etherium: Twilight Border - just like Nyrr but text based, a sort of test bed for designs I come up with.
  • Tradewars Webgame - Tradewars is an old BBS system where you go around buying and selling across different solar systems. The text interface was pretty advanced but I'm sure we can do a bit better with formatted HTML.
  • SkateBoard (working name) - a fast XML/JavaScript based messageboard designed with end-user modifications in mind. This is presently just my project.

now I think about it, I couldn't even come close to a list of the projects we have shelved for later

things like the old Warroom design, a Quake3 RPG, a team-mission-based FPS, and a dozen others that I can't recall at the moment.

Live Bookmarks

You can keep up to date on Sniqe News with a live bookmark - in firefox and similar.

I also wrote a little php script to hook into our forums ( http://forums.sniqe.com/ ) that will serve up an xml document which works as a live bookmark.

So when you're on a forum page and you get that little orange icon in the corner, use it and you can see the ten most recently posted to threads in the forum. I'm going to talk to bob later about having it jump you to the last page you've read, but that's later.

Sniqe News

Now we have a blog set up as our news script. The extra bonus feature is that you firefox users can click that little orange icon in the bottom right corner and check for news in your bookmarks. If you don't have firefox, go ahead and click that little button we have set up. No, really. Try it.

All three of us can post news here, so you'll get stuff about the games, about the website, and about the art. We are looking for more people to work with, so if you've got some talent drop us a line and we'll see if you fit at Sniqe.

Hopefully we can eventually re-skin this page to fit with the rest of the site.
